Two related ISCHEM products will address two different stages that physicians' presently use in their decision making and management of heart disease and stroke. Each of these individualized products will be marketed directly to physicians. These products are constructed by a central ISCHEM computer from patient data received from subcontractors (e.g. MRI centers, diagnostic laboratories) who measure the raw patient data. The products will then be instantly delivered from ISCHEM's computer to the physician via the internet or fax. In the future these informational products can and may be combined.

Plaque-Stability product -- non-invasively identifies plaque that is likely to break off and cause a heart attack or stroke. The patient data used for this informational product is the raw data coming from magnetic resonance images of the patient. ISCHEM is collaborating with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, the University Hospital of Zurich, School of Medicine and University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine to construct this product.

Cardiovascular Therapy-Optimization product -- similar in its construction to the Plaque-Stability product, but the variables used are biological.  It too alerts physicians to the likelihood of heart attack or stroke. The data used for this informational product is from diagnostic laboratories and patient histories. ISCHEM is collaborating with the lead researchers of landmark studies such as the Framingham Heart Study and the Physicians' Health Study to construct this product from these data.
